Bob's Story
When did you first get involved with CCFI?
I first started volunteering in 2005, when CCFI was still in the old community building on 12th and Main.
Why were you moved to join CCFI as a volunteer?
I’ve always loved helping others. I was really moved to help CCFI after finding out about their excellent work with local children and families.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
I really enjoy the atmosphere at CCFI. I also like the feeling of being able to help a little.
What do you feel is the biggest impact CCFI has made on the community?
CCFI has helped many families for many years. They continue to help and teach families, especially children, how to have hope for the future.
What would you like to say to encourage others to volunteer at CCFI?
I encourage everyone to visit CCFI and find out about their amazing work! The folks are wonderful to be around and I’m honored to be associated with them. They are all dedicated to CCFI’s mission and believe in the services they provide.
Bob is a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran who dedicates his time each month to help with our agency’s recycling needs. We have thoroughly enjoyed his companionship over the years and are honored to call him part of the CCFI family!
